This is a survey to compare and examine the condition of the house before the start of construction and after its completion.
A "building survey" is an investigation targeting areas within a site that are likely to be affected by construction work, conducted by a third party. There are preliminary and post-construction surveys that measure and record the current state, including changes over time, leakage conditions, defects in fixtures, and the tilt or subsidence of the building, along with photographic documentation. Through these preliminary and post-construction surveys, it is determined whether any damage existed prior to the construction or if it was caused by the construction work. [Preliminary Survey] - Photographs are taken to accurately understand the current state of the building and structures. - The interior of the building is investigated with the consent of the owner and users. - Measurements and records are made of the width and length of cracks, gaps, and damages, as well as the current tilt and subsidence of the building, along with photographic documentation.
